Please keep in mind that this price guide is almost 5 months old and hasn’t been updated in a while. It is just too much work to keep track of all changes and trends that affect prices. You are still welcome to use these prices to get general idea about how much each item might be worth, but keep in mind that these prices might have changed. You can use a beta version of Trove Marketplace on this site, or consult Trove Marketplace on Reddit to get more precise data.

Glossary
Item Name – For a specific item, this column is for the official item name. For a group or type of item, this is for the descriptor that best differentiates the group from other types of items.
Low Flux – This column represents the lowest value that is considered fair, allowing for short-term market fluctuations. This value does not take into account long-term market changes, except those that have taken effect within about a week of a patch being released.
High Flux – This column represents the highest value that is considered fair, allowing for short-term market fluctuations. This value does not take into account long-term market changes, except those that have taken effect within about a week of a patch being released.
Momentum – This is a numerical value representing the approximate relative strength of market forces pushing the prices up or down, on a scale of -5 to +5. A value of 0 means that fair prices are well-established and buyers and sellers have equal leverage to negotiate prices. Positive values indicate that sellers have greater leverage to dictate or negotiate a price, while negative values indicate that buyers have greater leverage to dictate or negotiate a price. All momentum ratings are based on my own observations and best estimates, and actual momentum may vary by a couple points.
Liquidity – (Preview! Not yet in the guide!) This is an estimation of how easy it is to exchange the item for flux. High liquidity items are frequently sold, and low liquidity items are difficult to find a buyer for.
Comments – Anything that I feel the need to state about a particular item or its market’s characteristics that don’t fall into one of the other columns will go here. This is where I note if the item is new, discontinued, or currently unobtainable. I will also document updates and corrections to posted fair prices and momentum here.
New Content Effect – This term is the name I give for the phenomenon that is often present when new content is added to the game. Initially, the fair price is exorbitantly high, but as the initial hype wears off, the price plummets to more reasonable values. Items subject to this effect during a particular patch will not have fair prices or momentum posted until the effect wears off and the price stabilizes.

Ores |
|||||
Item Name | Low Flux | High Flux | Momentum | Comments
Shapestone | 0.33 | 0.5 | 2 | Ore nerf made it harder to buy for 3:1, and nobody’s selling for 4:1 anymore.
Formicite | 0.05 | 0.1 | -5 | Buyers pretty much dictate the price, since there’s almost never any demand.
Infinium | 1 | 3 | 3 | Some buyers hold out for 1:1, but nobody’s advertising to sell for that price anymore. Ore nerf is heavily influencing the price increase.
Primordial Flame | 3 | 5 | 2 | Bomb and ore nerfs are driving the momentum.
Somber Soul | 10 | 12 | -1 | Most people who need these have them, but the ore nerf is keeping the price from plummeting.
Golden Soul | 0.05 | 0.1 | -5 | If the momentum scale went to -6, this would deserve it. I haven’t seen a buyer advertise since I started.
Glacial Shard | 3 | 4 | 3 | Rare and only found in one biome, plus the ore nerf. However, most demand is due to seasonal items. Sell while you still have leverage.
Miner’s Trove | 5 | 7 | 0 | Next to nobody sells these, and next to nobody buys these. |
Crafting Materials |

Item Name | Low Flux | High Flux | Momentum | Comments
Glim | 0.5 | 1 | 2 | Oh god pirate prices are high. Glim’s going to be worth a lot for a while.
Robotic Salvage | 10 | 12 | -1 | 15 has been the standard price for closed beta and most of open beta. Alternative means of obtaining salvage have caused the price to drop since then.
Bleached Bone | 2 | 4 | -2 | Demand is generally just for Skully and Zombie Pemblock, and they’re low demand.
Faerie Dust | 0.5 | 2 | -3 | Hard to come up with a fair price, since demand is so low, and buyers have so much leverage.
Enchanted Wood | 1 | 3 | -3 | Hard to come up with a fair price, since demand is so low, and buyers have so much leverage.
Wild Cupcake | 5 | 10 | 5 | Oh god this is turning into the new salvage.
Sticky Ichor | 0.5 | 1 | 0 | Needed for tomes.
Bottle | 0.5 | 2 | -2 | Hard to come up with a fair price, since demand is so low, and buyers have so much leverage. |

Gardening |

Item Name | Low Flux | High Flux | Momentum | Comments
Sunlight Bulb | 0.25 | 0.5 | -1 | 3:1 is standard rate. Price takers make up outliers.
Mushroom Chunk | 1 | 2 | -2 | Low demand, but still needed in bulk for gardening.
Steed Feed | 2 | 3 | -2 | Buyers have leverage because supply is oversaturated. Using this is the only way to get 1:2.
Pumpkin | 1 | 2 | 4 | Currently unobtainable.
Chestnut | 3 | 4 | 0 | Seasonal, but currently obtainable. Not many trade this.
Ringcrafting |
|||||
Item Name | Low Flux | High Flux | Momentum | Comments
Diamond | 8 | 10 | 0 | Whoever advertises can shift momentum in their favor.
Shadow Diamond | 28 | 32 | 0 | Unsure on momentum for this. Whoever advertises can shift it in their favor.
Shadow Ring 4* | 4000 | 5000 | 2 | Price assumes that the secondary stat type is popular.
Shadow Ring 3* | 2000 | 2500 | 1 | Can be much less if the secondary stat type is unpopular.
Shadow Ring 2*, Masterwork | 750 | 1000 | 0 | Both stats are always decent, so the price range is tighter than fine rings. Price can still be lower if the secondary stat type is unpopular.
Shadow Ring, Fine | 100 | 1000 | -2 | Stars on the main stat are more valuable than stars on the secondary stat. If the non-starred stat is bad, then the price is towards the low end.
Shadow Ring, Normal | 15 | 50 | -4 | Buyers pretty much dictate the price for these. Better to just melt these for flux and an eye.
Runecrafting |

Item Name | Low Flux | High Flux | Momentum | Comments
8* Shadow | 25000 | 30000 | 5 | All prices on this sheet assume appropriate stat types and max forged level.
7* Shadow | 10000 | 15000 | 4 | Price drops to low end if the single-starred stat is critical for good equipment.
6* Shadow, pearled, all starred | 4000 | 5000 | 2 | As long as the stat types are good, this is all you really need for classes other than your main.
5* Shadow, pearled, all starred | 2500 | 3500 | 0 | The poor man’s version of the above. Still worth using, since all the stats are starred.
6* Shadow, not pearled | 7000 | 10000 | 3 | Prices may be off if pearling got nerfed as someone reported last patch.
5* Shadow, not pearled | 3500 | 5000 | 1 | Prices may be off if pearling got nerfed as someone reported last patch.
Other shadow equipment, bulk rate | 150 | 200 | -2 | For pearled equipment, add the price of the pearl. Price ignores forged level.
Rainbow equipment, bulk rate | 35 | 50 | -3 | Only traded for styles. Add forged level to low price.
Red equipment, bulk rate | 15 | 25 | -4 | Only traded for styles. Low price is never less than forged level plus 3 flux.
Lower rarity equipment, bulk rate
|
10 | 20 | -5 | Only traded for styles. |
